ADAT stands for Alesis Digital Audio Tape which is the DAT system Alesis developed and promoted, in multichannle digital recording.
The ADAT Bridge allows to link 2 (or more) ADAT recorders 16 bits is the resolution of the bridge, meaning if the recording is 20 or 24 bits there will be some bits trashed along the way. There is a FAQ on ADAT and the resolution questions in the support section at Alesis.com The ADAT Bridge I/O is a rack made by Digidesign for Protools systems -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
