Ok so I have ben running my 2408 MKII with DP3 with no problems for a long time now, I even got a friend to sell his PC ans sonar and get a G3 with DP. Then about a week ago it started. I met up with some old co-workers and we started to talk trouble shooting talk. One of them got a 2408MKII and was using it with his PC, he had a problem with the PCI324 card clicking and popping, I laughed and said it wa because he was using a PC, then when I got home, as Murrphy's law would have it my computer got a sudden case of the clicks and pops. I was told that you just need to ajust something but have no Idea what.

PLEAZZZE HELP ME. MY MAC IS GETTING MAD AT ME!!!!!!
ok not really but any insight will be priceless biggrin.gif

Hi, Synthetik.

Just wondering how you resolved this problem. I think I'm getting the same pops. What setting did you have to set the PCI-324 console to?

Thanks.

I was getting the pops well in OSX so I ended up turning the 2408 off and reset the clock rate in SYSTEM PREFERENCES-SOUND the PCI324 should already be chosen the clock rate is at the upper left hand corner, just change the setting and change it back. It worked for me. biggrin.gif
