QUOTE (CShelCShore @ Jan 14 2005, 22:48) I have a question...
The Mac mini is the answer I've been looking for to get my boyfriend to swith from PC to Mac. I've gotten him to fall in love with GarageBand which would be a major application he would use if he got a Mac mini.
Here's the problem... I noticed that it only has a headphone jack and no audio in jack. How is he supposed to connect a microphone (or guitar) to record into GarageBand? check out these guys..they have mini usb interface for mic and guitar.... http://www.dvforge.com/plug.shtmlBlock

i think its great to new mac users
most mac owners dont need a new mac so apple is very aware that there bread comes from new software now or new users
maybe if its succesfull there will be G5 ones with linking abilities to use a number of them together, im a logic pro user and want to do this since i have several cinema displays, i plan to connect one to each display and link them into one big studio
but the size is the way to go these days, maybe they will shrink this thing down to a chip one day and just connect all the gismos (dvd-r/cd/audio i/o / screens etc) to it
other then this i can not buy one still becuase im sure it will be discontinued as it is and replaced with something else like i mentioned, a G5 version totaly deferent
and where is that powerbook g5 anyway
