I run Logic 6 and use an M-Audio Audiophile USB Sound Module. The set ups being working like a dream until I deleted a trial version of an Audio Instrument from my hard-drive. Nowm, when I boot up Logic, it gets stuck on the 'Initialising Core Audio' part of the load sequence and then displays the message 'Logic has unexpectedly Quit etc etc'. If I turn the Audiophile unit off, Logic boots up fine - but without a connected Core Audio Driver, I can't do much with it. As soon as I turn the unit on and try loading up Logic, I get the error message. I've tried reinstalling Logic 6, I've upgraded the driver software for the M-Audio unit, I've literally tried everything I know how to do other than wipe the drive and re-install everything all over again. It seems to me that it's a driver issue with the M-Audio Audiophile unit, but I've got no idea how to go about correcting it. Can somebody PLEASE help. I've just finished a big project and was about to bounce it down when this happened. Now I'm holding a lot of people up, and I'm SUPER STRESSED!!!
