Hi all. I was hoping you folks could help me out. I have this theory (crackpot, maybe) that the following is true:
400/500 MHz TiBook + Panther + any audio interface = badness

and I'm looking for people who can disprove this theory.

I have this suspicion, because I can't get my M-Audio Firewire 410 to work on my system (500 MHz TiBook), and I keep seeing posts of other people who have first-generation TiBooks, and can't get various audio interfaces to work. I've seen reports of problems with interfaces from M-Audio, Tascam, Echo, PreSonus, Motu and DigiDesign. All consistently bad on the 400/500s, though they work much better on other models.

Can anyone here prove me wrong? (I'm asking this question on every mac audio forum I can find.)
