Hello all, I am new to the forum. I joined because I was seeking to purchase a device to input sound from a multitrack hard disk recorder to my iMac 1ghz 17". I don't need one that's very fancy. I am, of course, on a composer's budget. I normally just run the cable straight into the line in, but on my older iMac I got a little bit of a buzz. I guess I should have checked to see if that was still present on the iMac before I posted here, but I still need to know what the best digital I/O option is. Thanks in advance. If all you need is digital I/O, Edirol's UA-1D might do the trick. TD
