Bien moins fameux que le s900 (et s950), un des sampleur fondateur du son du hip hop avec son sampling en 12bit si caracteristique des beats et des basses de la fin des 80's, comme ceux que l'on entend sur les galettes de Eric B and Rakim ou Public Ennemy...

Quelques prix d'époque:

- Emu I : 76 500 F (en 1983)
- Emu II : 95 000 F avec lecteur CDrom + un CDrom (en 1984)

Epatants. Ça chargeait avec une lenteur désepérante.

Allez, tant qu'on y est, pourquoi ne pas citer ce qui est (je crois) le premier Sampler chez Akai : le S612.

Mois j'aimais bien aussi le sampleur de delay AMS :-)
