Loschifo, I agree -- I'd like to see more significant improvements to DP so that it keeps pace with Cubase, Logic, and the like. DP continues to receive acclaim, and understandably so as it is in many ways an elegant program, but I feel it's fallen far behind its competition in many respects.

There's no conspiracy theories associated with Unicornation, however -- hit http://unicornation.com/ and you get the following message:

"The UnicorNation site should be up in a few days. The ISP that was hosting the site, Nethollywood.net went out of business without warning and we are in the process of moving the site to the new hosting service. Thanks for your patience."

And Unicornation is more than "semi-official"; it's entirely unassociated with MOTU. Completely UNofficial. Of course, we'll be happy to see it back online!

Updates every 15 days from Emagic, anyway, are hardly enviable(!) I prefer NOT to have to patch my software that regularly because of bugs, all due respect to Logic!

The MAS update is significant in terms of performance improvements and long-awaited compatibility to Reaktor. I hope that, now having managed the OS X transition, all three DAWs will procede to innovate in other ways. MOTU's pace tends to be slower because of fewer development resources than its competition, but there are certainly aspects of each of the Mac's "big 3" to recommend any one of them.
