hey...

anyone have a tried and true way to calculate the BPM of an acapella track in Logic??

any info would be helpful....thanks much.

i've been trying that recently, but according to the logic manual you should set all tempos before recording audio tracks. trying to adjust it afterwards is "a great deal of hassle". it doesn't explain any further. there are ways of monitoring with the click, and adjusting the length of the audio file using Audio>Object>Adjust object length using locators or to nearest bar when it's right. but it's not ideal, and can be long winded.
