HELLO.
I AM A PRODUCER WHO USES idrum and logic to make my beats. I like idrum because you can use plugins. however I was told that a real drum machine gives you a richer analog sound and that digital drum programs give you a weaker sound. I notice sometimes that my drum sounds (idrum) tend to change when played. Can someone please tell me the pros and cons of both setups.

No they don't sell the MPC60 or MPC3000 anymore. You can still pick them up second hand on ebay though. iDrum can sound as good or better than an MPC1000 or 2000 depending on your sound card and your plug-ins.
I don't really understand your problem though. How do you mean "not cosistent"? Does the level change or the quality...
I find Logic's plug-ins a little sterile. So I don't tend to use them to get a phatter sound.
