Yeah, I've tried Synchronic and I'm seriously considering buying it. It allows you to do some very creative shit. It's design leans a little heavily toward DJ/Remix applications for my taste, but it could be used for all kinds of loops in different styles of music. The interface is clean and simple, but it will take a little study and experimentation to get the hang of it. One thing to remember about the modules is that they're LFO driven; the shapes and rates play a big part in the cool FX and transitions you can make with this plug.
So far I'd say Synchronic kicks ass.
