Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 26-Oct 06 From: IT Member No.: 84,651	Dear Mac Music Members, i'm new to this list. I'm a B&W G3 user. Mac Os 9.xx Classic. Old machine and older applications: Cubase, MidiEx, Megalomania etc... I'd like to connect again (after 8 years) my sinths/racks to my machine. No more reliable and easy to use serial ports, only USB. Is it possible to connect again my instruments to my old applications through USB port? IF yes what is the best solutions? FreeMidi and/or OMS? Or newer programs? Best regards Marco Marongiu - ITALY

Very important : install OMS FIRST, then the rest including the eventual midi interface driver. OMS is very touchy.
