We have strong sources tongue.gif
Only the date is not sure: According to our sources, Logic 7 was planned to be launched at AppleExpo, but they did not succeed to be in time....

I just got logic pro a day ago.
I haven't registered it yet but do you think If I register it now,
I get free update to logic 7?

you know, most of companies have policy that whoever bought a
product a month before New version come out get to upgrade free of charge. smile.gif

There'll probably be a grace period so you'd be eligible for a free upgrade if the October date is true. -But- As it says above "Only the date is not sure". Well duh! We all know Logic 7 is coming, it's the date that we want info about. Not a real helpful rumor/comment really.

Great News!

I hope it works like a MAC app now and not a friggin ATARI app. How many years must it take to make an app a MAC app, especially if it's owned by APPLE!?

Still, it rocks the casba. I like the interface concept quite a bit. It just needs a bit of cleaning up and a few feature features to keep up with the joneses. To this day, no other software can come close to Logic for MIDI work. Also, no single app has such a bounty of high end plug-ins.

I wouldn't count on it if I were you.
I bought the Logic 6 upgrade i January, about 2 weeks before Logic Pro was released, and I sent Emagic an e-mail asking the if there was a grace period for upgrading... I never even got a response from them.

yeah, you gotta bug the hell out of them - they are usually OK about responding.

MOTU is the worst. It's like a joke. A very, very cruel joke.
