Hi everyone, new kid on the block here! Hoping to make friends in this journey! I just had a crash in my PoweBook G4 and needed to reinstall EVERYTHING! Took me like 8 hours, lots of plugins...I know! The thing is that I downloaded the Logic Pro upgrades and they jump from 1.3 to 2.1, and when I wanted to install the 2.1 version it asks for a 2.0!!!!!! Well, I've bee googlin' around and nothing, not a single place to download 2.0 Can anyone help???? Thank you so very much!

As mentioned already in this thread, the Logic 7.1.x upgrade to Logic 7.2 was a paid upgrade of $49. I did find Logic 7.2 still available at Musicians' Friend for $299 ea. But even they are not selling the upgrade for 7.1 to 7.2. It is the upgrade from 5/6 to 7.2. However, on the Apple Discussion forums for Logic Pro, it is pointed out that the upgrade from ANY version of Logic 6 OR 7 to Logic 8 (Logic Studio) is $199. I verified this price on The Apple Store web page. And as Mac Daddy pointed out (and is also referenced on that Apple Discussions' thread) any 'sharing' of the software would be piracy which goes against the spirit, as well as the rules of this forum. Not to mention the legal implications. I know it ain't cheap. And I understand family priorities (I have kids myself), but setting the wrong example is not the way to make better music. For Logic 7.1.x to v 7.2 at less than retail, you can check eBay for some other options. (this one is for Logic Express; I didn't see one for the Pro version listed, but it'd be worth it to keep checking back). In the interim, you can use GarageBand to continue working. At least once you find a copy of the 7.2 update or spring for Logic 8 you'll be able to import your work directly into your full fledged DAW and keep working. Best of luck in your searches. peace
