Hi all,
Im finally going to take the plunge and upgrade from my 400mhz 15in tibook to a new 1.5 15inch alubook. My question is can I keep and use the 1gig of ram from my old machine and plonk it into the new one? I think the ram is 2 512 sticks of PC100-222S SDRAM.

Or am I better off to sell it with the ram and geta couple of extra bucks?

Is this the same spec as the ram that is being shipped in the new alubooks?

Also has anyone else made this jump in processor speed, as Im keen to know how much of a difference Ill be able to notice.

cheers in advance

The RAM on the new powerbooks is PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM which is different to the RAM from your old powerbook.

Sell your old ram you can get some good moneys off of it
