Hi, I`m using ProTools LE on a G3+. My Audiocard is an Audiowerk8. When I start I get the following Message:

'unable to create DAE desk'

I think that everything is proper installed.

What can I do?

You could buy the software from Digidesign and use the free hardware that comes with it.

Newer Pro Tools software, except for Pro Tools FREE, only works with newer Digidesign hardware, and never with hardware from other manufacturers.

you can use pro tools free and apple sound manager to edit with PRO TOOLS SOFTWARE

there is NO pro tools LE for sale,

only with a choice of hardware you buy you get a LIMITED EDITION OF PRO TOOLS, aka ® PRO TOOLS LE.

and you can never upgrade to PRO TOOLS full unless you sell or just simply buy a new HD or mIx+ SYSTEM....

If you have a digi 001 and installed PRO TOOLS L.E. then you need to shut off virtuel memory, set disc catch to 512 and install from the cd it came with... THATS ALL


So i cant image a BROKEN TRANSPORT unless your trying to say that it came broken from the shipper?

No, (sorry my english is not very good, I`m german), I walked down the stairs (with full hands and the digi001 on the top) and it felt down the stairs. I dont know what is broken in it but it doesn`t work anymore. I have a production next saturday and it`s not possible to rapair it till saturday, so I have to use my audiowerk 8.

Forget everything. My digi001 is repaired. It was just a problem with a connector inside. I don`t know what, but now it works. Thank you for answering.

Im Using a G3 Mac 1.Ghz With Protools le via the MBox.
I Also run nueindo 2.0 on a pc i would like to know if--- exporting my protools sessions as OMF* files And importing them directly in to nueindo deminishes the sound in any way
and is there an easier way or a format that is compatible to every multi tracking program,Or at least most of them
I need help.

On a related note, I'm also getting the "unable to create DAE deck" message on my G3. I was told that this refers to the fact that I don't have a PT compatible interface. I was just wondering if anyone knows if the M-Audio Delta 1010-LT is compatible with PT (or any non-Digidesign or MOTU products, actually.)
