hi guys!
after i upgade my G3 iBook 700 combo to 10.3, no sound output thru internal speakers nor headphone jack exception of booting chime. it was working fine when running Jaguar. i had downgraded OS to 10.2 after what happened to make sure it was not a hardware problem but it was working again w/Jaguar... on pref panel of 10.3, drop-down menu or selecting audio out device is greyed out for int. spkr and no audio in/out is abled. but if i plug-in M-audio USB or other ext. USB audio device it works fine ^^;; i searched for a similar simptom on the net but couldn't find help. does anyone having this kinda problem or just my iBook? should i stuck w/jaguar for the rest of natural life of my iBook??? |

Strange…
download Onyx for OSX and repair authorizatons and run the maintenances scripts. It could be somthing like that. I'm not enough litterate into X to think about something else. Now from troubles I've seen on friend's OSX, I can tell you that if you upgraded to 10.3 and didn't make a clean install of the system it may go haywire.
