i've been looking into getting an ibook 700mhz running osX. but am skeptical about recording, can anyone suggest some good audio interfaces. i 'll be running out of a mixer either 1/4' or spdif. but then i need an interface. should i look into usb or firewire. what about latency? the only options i've seen are the motu828 and the new digidesign mbox. anyone have any experience with these or experience with any other option. all help and comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
