I've been having problems using VST instruments in Cubasis on my iMac.
Though I can 'play' the instruments okay, and input notes via the Score Editor, etc. when i come to play them back after recording, notes seem to be dropped at random. It seems to work a little better at lower tempos, but there are still problems. Stranger still, it seems to have even greater problems with the Virtual Memory switched off. I've tried increasing the memory assigned to the program to well beyond 200MB, but it made no difference. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone has to offer. Cheers Craig. |

Disclaimer: I'm a complete novice, but i had a problem with a free softsynth; the mdajx10, where it would randomly change my selected sounds on playback, as yet i can't fix it. you could try dumping prefs, clean reinstall, run Norton, all that sort of stuff, if you need further assistance icq me: 157198120,
I'll do my best. Ash perhaps a disk optimisation may help......just a thought. |

First thing with the pref dumping etc.
Zap your PRAM (command-option-P-R, leave the keys down until you hear the startupsound 3 times) maybe something is wrong in it… (the virtual memory off going worse than if it is on) -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
