Hi,
First post and I really need some advice on the best option for me. I currently run a Mac Mini via USB > Benchmark USB DAC1 > Dynaudio Air monitors - only for two channel playback. I know this is probably not the best way to interface between a Mac and an active pair of monitors that can accept AES/EUB - digital XLR. The Benchmark DAC1 is adding a layer of conversion that is not needed. What is the best way to go Mac optical out and convert to AES/EUB digital XLR? I have seen a possible solution: http://www.mutec-net.de the MC1? Or are there other more suitable options? Also, is there a way to go Firewire 800 > AES/EUB - XLR? Any advice?? Thanks, MontyW |

A few I've tracked down, but as I've never meddled with the optical out I advise you to verify it's compatible (or if someone can here ?)
Kramer 465 HOSA ODL312 CO2 converter If it helps, it seems to be rather video oriented converters these things. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
