Not so sure it's a good one. They took the decision over lack of sales on the windows platform and the cost of effective dongle protection. It means they think it's better to rely only on Mac OS revenues.

Given the global economic trend, I think they won't be the only ones to take such decisions either to be on Windows only or on OS X only.

The good point is they will focus on one platform, meaning better updates and less bugs.

How lame is that... the news article on 440 has the wrong logo and a typo in it. The really interesting news at Prosoniq was this (IMHO): http://libera.prosoniq.com/editing-products/sonicworx/

Amazing!!

That's right I did, sorry for that!

I was just wondering why everybody seems to be bitching about them discontinuing a product line that doesn't pay off (which I totally understand), there was a pretty interesting discussion about this here, too: http://www.analogindustries.com/blog/entry...;page=4#replies

Personally, I don't care as I'm (mostly) on a Mac :-)

Cheers

Some members have both Macs and PCs, or only PCs (remember, we host PCmusic.org too), but it's a sad news for the legit Prosoniq users on Windows… People bitch on Prosoniq topping Wintel products, some years ago we had people bitching about editors stopping Mac OS development, people must like bitching. I like user input on products they use and healthy companies doing their best way better. unsure.gif
