lepetitmartien... Is there anything you don't know? Do you look like Gandalf from Lord Of The Rings? You must be a Wizard. I cannot tell you how much I learn reading your Solutions, Tips and Advice. It really got quiet in here While you were away. You fixed everyones problems and they stopped Posting. ... Hence, I started adding my: 'Tree fifdy' $3.50, sounds like more but is not worth as much as 2¢

I know I carry on about lepetitmarien like I'm a star struck Backstage Fan, but I recognize 'Talent' when I see it and I have serious respect for you... Now, my first Technical Problem/Question for you.

I have Steinberg's Virtual Guitarist and Virtual Guitarist Electric Edition. When I try to Open I get a message: "Yo, Homeboy... "Contents Not Found"... I can see both on my HD... "Master... (Not to be confused with... American Slave 'Massuh' or a S&M Master... Oh hell no!) What is Grasshopper to do with nearly 600 Euros spent and 3 Gig space used and not a 'Plucking' note! I have fxpansions VST-AU Adaptor, I was probably one of the first to own that little goodie... back when I had money... a long long time ago...

G5 OSX Logic Pro 7. I am thinking of selling it and getting the New and Improved Virtual Guitarist... AU Compatible out the box... But, if I can get what I have working I'll be content finding the contents...
I could go to my Tech, but that means, washing, dressing, packing, driving, Petrol/Gas, waiting, money, seeing people, please... don't make me go out...

Talk to me.... Or I'm it's Forum Classifieds... Thanks in advance... Don't worry, you're still the smartest Mac Whizz I know... Can ya help me?

Thanks mac daddy (blush) but there are LOT'S of things I don't know…

I've separated from the thread as it's a different problem altogether (nothing quite networking matters here uh?)

- Have you tried to reinstall after having getting rid of everything VG/VGEE on the drives?
- Is your system version compatible with VG/VGEE? Are these done with the eventual updates (if Steinberg did some maintenance ones free for your version)
- Are the apps in the application folder? Have you moved anything in it?
- Is your Fxpansion up to date? It has to be checked regularly as any little change in VSTs or Logic put it in balance of sanity…

Just a few ideas…

My inner wisdom tells me the VST-AU has trouble with it, an update should fix it. But maybe I've lost my Jedi powers… wink.gif Check versions first at fxpansion and see the changes they've done. You must have an account to check this it's a simple no licence thing.

Your system should be 10.3.9 or better for VST-AU, Logic 7.x is ok… rest is inside the vault wink.gif

lepetitmartien thanks for your prompt Reply and Advice. I will begin when I get up, I just got your Message... It's 4:14AM my adrenalin is pumping at the fact 'You, Him, The Master... Speaks to me... Grasshopper... I'm willing but my eyes ain't able... That dry, burning, "Close your eyes dumb ass... Go to sleep now!" burning?

I saw the amout of Post you have... Damn!!!! Pushing 11,000! That is serious... You should be getting paid by Macintosh. 11,000 Posts! Wow! Whew! Whoa! I don't even have that many healthy brain cells left, actually I don't think I ever had even close to 11,000... maybe 2,000.

I will take your advice after 4 or 5 hours sleep... Thanks again for Replying... I really know how busy you are. I will try to keep my problems and ramblings at a minimum. I can almost hear the cheering in the 'Hood'.

BTW jimdubpram is "Serious". What a cool, and I really mean it in the 'Old School' kind of way, 'Soulful and Real' cool. Thanks 440 would not have had the opportunity were it not for you. This is my World for the moment, I'm enjoying it like I cannot explain. I have always enjoyed working with creative types, but time, distance, blah-blah it was either difficult or impossible...

I know there must be a ton of musician/writers here? Isn't that what we want? We work for. Dream? We can create music from our '440 Hood'. The music will always evolve because the members will constantly change... Or is this Forum strictly for... Problems? I know. Bye. Thanks lepetitmartien. 11,000. I had 11 girlfriends once. I was young, hott, touring... Totally delirious .
