if yu wan get statrted v fast and belt out some mixes play or spit live over wot yur doin then
go for ableton. value. ease. results. give it a try. i have busted more chewns wiv ableton than any uvva program. it talks to uvva systems and gadgets like an insurance salesman. engineers and and pro mixers i speak not unto thee muzishuns who want to concentrate on moooooozik it is thine saviour it is pig ugly -but goes like shithouse door in a storm any other converts out there wanna come down the mall and hand out literature?

A friend of mine runs a 2 guys'DJ set using Live on 2 laptops (live remixing) and it's really impressive the result (save when windows invites itself that is). Now it's on PCs because the other one is still on and he didn't move the thing on his brand new powerbook (he switched
 he uses for his live laptop set (which is an altogether different thing).
