:-/Has anyone used either the BCF2000 or BCR2000 from Behringer yet? If so what do you think so far and does anyone know of a similarly priced priced controls with total recall?

Thanks

Yes. I bought the BCR a few days ago...

It is very well conceived, very powerfull features but it seems fragile... Have to be cool with the knobs wink.gif .
Anyway it is the best #knobs/price I found and it works incredibly well with Live 4. It's more difficult with Logic as there's no LogicControl emulation available on the BCR. You'll have to get the BCF for that (and maybe Mackie or Tascam should be considered).

Behringer is not in my heart for audio quality but it seems ok for knobs.

And remember: once you begin with control surfaces, you can't come back to the mouse !!!

My tip with Live 4 : assign tempo to a knob in Absolut 14 bit mode and you'll have 1/100 bpm sensitive wheel to sync to anything (just like turntables !!!)

Very cool.

Have you tried the java app for custom config? Behringer is not known for its apple friendliness (in fact it may be their first apple friendly product). If the editor is working ok and full feature it'll make a killer for entry level controls.

The Java app launch correctly but it doesn't see the BCR ... huh.gif
Here i have OsX 10.3.7 and Java 1.4.2 (re-)installed. Doesn't seem to help.
We'll have to wait for the full version I guess (still beta).
Anyway I use SyxEx Librarian to store my dumps and it works just fine.
That seems even simpler...
