I'm a new mac user
I use a stand alone mackie hard drive recorder
and I want to use my mac for a few plugins
I've just got a cheap sound card (audiphile)
and mackie's music software tracktion cos it's simple
I'm intending to buy antares auto tune which will clear me out
financially
and I'm trying to find a free simple analogue synth plug in
something with white noise and bass sounds
i've google'd for freebies but not had that much luck
li'l help?

Once you'll get in funds, buy the pluggo collection from cycling'74, ots of things for not a lot of money (treatments and instruments).

Now, here's a list of VST instruments at Steinberg, you find other freeware/shareware running on mac, and you have our soft pages maintained by June Bug wink.gif

I like this one:
LinPlug FreeAlpha
and
ReFx Claw
and also you can get the basic original muon tau bassline synth free (not demo crippled) in their "demo collection" package:
Muon demo collection
have fun.
