WIth the AES show at the end of this month, rumours of Apple Computers and Apple Records close to settling the lawsuit, and Apple cleaning up it's consolidation of EMagic products completely into Apple, I'd say its time to speculate on exactly how insanely great Apple's new professional line of audio hardware will be. Will they come out with a firewire multichannel interface? a ProPod for location recording? An AudioUnit standalone to compete with Plugzilla? The distributed proccessing feature in Logic 7 might work nicely with an Apple Powercore/UAD type card or firewire device.
