Hello,
My iMic is not working with Cubase SX! I have a 300mhz G3 in my iBook, and i've set the iMic properly so it works fine with Finyl Vinyl and Bias Peak, but in Cubase i get error messages saying, "no input device connected" or "no record file". Anyone else experiencing these sort of problems? Does anyone have a solution, or some advice? PLEASE HELP!!! |

I assume you're in OS 9, but you posted in the wrong forum
Is the driver correctly installed? Does it appear in the Sound control panel? Make a search here on iMic, there must be useful hints already. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Hey,
If your running OS9 then go to the iMic web site and get the ASIO driver for the iMic. The company told me that this should work. If you are on OSX, well then we're in the same boat. They don't make an ASIO driver for OSX yet and when I asked about when they were going to make one they said they did not know. So basically for Cubase SX to work you need an interface with an ASIO driver because you can't turn that option off. I am looking into Edirol right now. They have a few pretty resonable interfaces. But make sure there is a driver. UA-5 looks Okay. Jay |
