Hello --

Does anyone have experience - or could help - in setting up an MOTU MTP word clock into my system ? I know the piece works -- I have sufficiently screwed up timimg on several tracks after chaining it to my sequencer -- lol -- but, could really use some help on doing it correctly. In my MIDI/AUDIO set up, there are all those caables to drag, etc. I get really confused.
COMMENT:
If anyone works at or knows anyone that works for a hardware audio company and/or really wants to make a lot of money, take a look at how IKEA's set up instructions look. Do that with Audio / MIDI set up devices ( i.e. super simple drawings that show any moron exactly where and how the cables go).
There has to be a market for a book like that. Many of the books I have found require a degree in engineering to understand.

Thanks, and have a great day!

What exactly are you trying to do???
Wordclock implies you try to control the timing of your hardware/software from the MTP AV.

Unless your trying to do sample accurate transfers of audio data or maybe scoring for film ior video,
there's probably no need for that.

In Audio/Midi controlpanel the arrows pointing in & out is for describing your midi-connections.
Midi out from your midi-controller is connected to one of the in-arrows and vice versa.
