Hi all,
I'm getting an error message when I open Logic Pro 7:

error reading/writing file
com.apple.logic.pro.cs

and it tells me not to save the preferences, as I'd be saving an incomplete set.
Can anyone help!!? I'll be very, very grateful!

Peter

the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file lives in (your user name)>Library>preference>Logic
it is a preference file for your control surface settings.
try deleting it when Logic it is not running. Logic should create a new preference file when it starts.

I'd repair permissions using Apple Drive Utility along with running the maintenance scripts, just in case (use OnyX for example). Either the file is damaged or it has bad permissions which prevent you from mod it.

Follow formatj and do a little of maintenance, it should be ok. cool.gif
