Hi!
I am using cubase vst 32/5 on my G4 400Mhz - 256Mb ram
and on some on my songs as soon as i stop them, it is impossible to get cubase to play again unless i close it and reopen the songs.
On some of my songs i just can't get sound anymore (Midi or audio).
All the meters seems to be working but no audio.

I'm just about to give up this infernal program that is cubase
and switch back to Master track pro on my Atari along w/ Pro tools on G4.

Please help me!!!!!!!!!
Thanks

P.S. anyone knows about an Ensoniq Esq-1 emulator on Mac?

Mhmmm maybe RAM is a problem (not enough)

Else it's something fishy in the preferences…

Which audio interface do you use?

I have tried boosting the Ram to 512Mb with the same results

as for the interface, i'm using the regular audio in and out's from the G4 without a midi interface, do you think that this might be the problem?

Thank you

Don't know if this is much of a solution but I run into the same problem on my G3 w/ 320RAM / 266mhz.
I have both VST 24 and 32 and VST32 will only work once and then I have to restart.
I switched to Cubase VST 24 and don't have the problem anymore.
The only thing I can think is that the CPU can't handle VST 32.
