You will have to get yourself an audio interface.

you live in london, go to the apple store and buy one in a midi keyboard, otherwise go to the apple store on the info superweb and buy one on there

There are different midi keyboards.
1 Regular midi keyboards (midi in and out). No audio in, no usb out. 2 Midi keyboards with built in midi to usb interface. No audio in. 3 Midi keyboards with built in audio and midi interface. To connect a guitar, you need the 3. alternative, e.g. the inexpensive M-audio Ozone. Another option is to buy an audio/midi interface where you can both connect you guitar and your midi keyboard. The Tascam us 122 is a popular and inexpensive choice. Edirol UA-20 is another option. Be aware that not all audio interfaces have mic preamps. Jan Erik |

Go to Guitar Center or an equivalent store that sells recording equipment. They'll have a wide range of options.
