Hey people...A friend installed Reason 1.0 on my Mac awhile ago. It was running at one point but now when I try to start it up I get a prompt that reads: "Insert Factory Sound Bank CD...Waiting for CD." It's already saved on my hard disk in the Reason folder so I don't know what the problem is but it really sux that I can't use the program at all. Does anyone have any pointers?[COLOR=purple]

I don't know about the protection schemes from Propellerheads. Fill me in. If that's the wall I'm running into and there isn't a way around then huuum yeah I'll consider buying it. I figure I'll dig for an answer before I dig in my pocket.

Protection is exactly what it is - every so often, the program prompts you to insert the CDs. Without them, you can't get any further.
I find it a bit annoying as it seems to happen quite often, but at least they don't insist on another USB dongle taking up space in my hub |

And the reason (pun intended) that it bothers you is because you don't have paid…
And you can't count on us to tell you how to avoid it as it's forbidden by law so forbidden here too. We don't want this kind of thing to brign the site down, we have already our share of troubles -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Yep..I don't expect anybody to tell me how to avoid it. I figured it was forbidden to give certain kinds of info. I just wanted to know exactly what I was dealing with and now I do. I have other toys to work with for right now so it ain't no thang if I can't get it going. Thanx for refilling me in (this pun also intended).
