I'm new to this, so this is a really basic question.

I want sounds such as Mellotron, Rhodes, and Wurlitzer. What do I need to get? What do I look for to get these sounds with what I have? My keyboard doesn't have these sounds so I have to do it with MIDI, but I don't know anything about it.

I have:
Digidesign 002
G4 Mac
Kurzweil keyboard w/MIDI

You can get the Mellotron as a soft(ware) instrument (called the M-Tron) that works like a real 'instrument' in Cubase and Logic etc - just use your MIDI controller keyboard or programme in via Cubase/Logic editor screens. Same goes for the Rhodes - available by Emagic as their EVP73 or EVP88.

Not sure about Wurlitzer, but I'm sure you could get sample CDs if a software synthesizer doesn't exist.

Good luck!
