i have an edirol pcr mc30, i have had it for about 2 years , in the last year some of the keys have slowly stopped working, i have hard that it has rubber contacts for the keys and that you can use a hair dryer to heat the muck that is stopping the connection of the contacts.

can anybody help me i don't want to have to buy a new controller @ the moment

Yeah, I own a PCR-30 that has the same problems. Brought it back (under warrantee) to get fixed, the problem persisted/spread to other keys. Bought an EMU controller and never had the problem again.

That being said, it would be nice to have the use of the Edirol as a back-up. If someone has a genuine workable solution as to a fix, I'd like to hear it as well!
