I'm running Protools LE 6.4 (Digi 001) on OSX 10.3.6 and about every 2 or 3 hours, PT crashes saying it is unable to see or connect DAE with Hardware (i dont have the exact phrase, sorry, will write it down next time). It usually does this either when opening a session or when importing audio into a session. I then have to re-start the computer. Besides this, everything works great. I use an internal hard-drive. I've checked all the connections, repaired permissions on disk, organised files correctly and I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything improper otherwise. Can someone please let me know what might be the cause of this?

I'm afraid I can't tell you what may be causing your crashes, but I would suggest that you consider downgrading your OS to 10.3.4 if you are unable to resolve your issues. Panther 10.3.4 is the last OS to support PT LE 6.4 and Digi 001 according to Digidesign. Of course, if you've been running PT LE 6.4/Digi001 before in OS 10.3.6 with no problems then perhaps there is some other issue that can be resolved.
