Okay - I know all you pros must be tired of this one, but having spent the last two hours trawling the net and coming out with several different opinions on this old chestnut, I need help. I want to plug my Technics and ~Pioneer mixer into my 12" Powerbook and record continuous mixes from vinyl. Then I'd want to add track markers and track titles and burn them to cd with my superdrive - i.e. make a professional sounding Mix CD akin to those irritatingly commercial Ministry of Sound efforts.....
I'm looking for the best quality and most user friendly options without shelling out any readies.....or at least a minimum amount.
Ideally, anything that keeps an eye on peak levels etc..would be good as I have a habit of cranking it up a little once I get going. tongue.gif tongue.gif

We have an article still not translated in English (if there are people who can help, we can do with some wink.gif on this subject.

As most of the relevant info has been told already I may only add that an RIAA correction is mandatory, make a search on the site, it has been already covered smile.gif

RIAA correctors are available for a very reasonable price, you can use also a good HiFi preamp sending to the mac as an aux for the same means. cool.gif
