Hi. I'm new here.
Been having bad problems with my Edirol FA-66 which make it cut out and then I have to re-install the driver at least once a week but usually more often. As I'm a full time touring musician this is slightly scary and even though I like the idea of the box, I'm thinking about going back to MOTU and a separate MIDI interface unless someone here can help. I use the latest version of Tiger on a 1.67GHz P/Book with 2Gig of RAM and I use a LaCIE FireWire 800 external drive for my sound library. The software I use for live work is Steinberg VSTack. It happens still when I use a separate MIDI interface (like MidiMan or Edirol UM4). Does this happen to anyone else and do you need to know anymore information? Thanks Barry |

Can you be more specific about which driver you are using? The standard Mac OSX core audio driver is part of the operating system and should not need reinstalling - perhaps you are referring to a Steinberg driver???
