Hi. I'm new here.
Been having bad problems with my Edirol FA-66 which make it cut out and then I have to re-install the driver at least once a week but usually more often. As I'm a full time touring musician this is slightly scary and even though I like the idea of the box, I'm thinking about going back to MOTU and a separate MIDI interface unless someone here can help.
I use the latest version of Tiger on a 1.67GHz P/Book with 2Gig of RAM and I use a LaCIE FireWire 800 external drive for my sound library. The software I use for live work is Steinberg VSTack.
It happens still when I use a separate MIDI interface (like MidiMan or Edirol UM4).
Does this happen to anyone else and do you need to know anymore information?
Thanks
Barry

Can you be more specific about which driver you are using? The standard Mac OSX core audio driver is part of the operating system and should not need reinstalling - perhaps you are referring to a Steinberg driver???
