I'm just bought my first Ti-book.
Now i need an audio interface & off course a sequencer.
I'm thinking about the:

Motu 896 & DP-3
or
RME Multiface w/ Logic Audio (prob'gold)

What would you choose ?
I also have a P800 desktop so i also could use the RME for that if i buy the pci interface.

Thx for your help

lepe... you are not exactly correct on the Logic thing. Logic still has SILVER, GOLD, and PLATINUM even at version 5. Also, be warned that the Logic that comes with "BIG BOX" is SILVER. There are differences too. In theory... they are all the same app but the different levels unlock and allow for different features according to what you paid for. Actaully when you buy Logic... your buying the same app even if buying SILVER compared to someone buying PLATINUM but the dongle for each is different and allows access to only certain features. And if you do a comparison between the 3 different levels... you will see the differences. Go to www.emagic.de and there you will see how the different ones stack up.

I just went for Logic GOLD 4.8.1 and will get the upgrade to 5.0 GOLD as soon as its available (not shipping yet). I wanted GOLD because it will support 24bit recording as soon as 5.0 GOLD is released and it has enough features for my taste. I almost went with "BIG BOX" too but didn't think I would be happy with the SILVER Logic.
