I am upgrading my old imac and I wanted to see if anyone could answer a couple questions.
I have been using DP 2.7 and I havent had the luxury of using DP 4 yet. I wanted to know how much processor power I really need to run Digital Performer 4 with. I want to make sure I can run effects on the audio tracks with out to much slow down. I was leaning on getting an Emac with a 1.2 ghz processor & 1 Gig of Ram . Should I get something more powerful? |

QUOTE Can DP4 make use of the dual processor? DP4 only runs under OS X. In OS X, multiple processor functions are taken care of at operating system level, not at program level. Unlike Mac OS 9. Kind regards. -------------------- Dave Bourke
