I have an eMac 700 CDRW running OS9.2.2 & OS10.1.5.
I use an Edirol UA-5 usb soundcard and a Midiman Midisport 2x2 usb midi interface with it. I recently bought Cubasis VST 2 to use with my setup, and everything worked perfectly for a few weeks until one day OS9 froze up when I opened Cubasis. I rebooted manually, but had the same problem when I tried again or when I attempted to run OMS setup or Logic Audio Fun. I contacted Midiman because i thought it might be the MIDI, but everything they sugested didnt work. The edirol card works fine in os10 with audacity, so I dont think its that. Please help!

Have you tried just to trash the preferences of cubasis ?
(I assume it's on OS9)
(in case, just move them away to see if it solves the problem)

yep... trashing prefs or even maybe deleting all extensions related to your music setup and reinstalling software may help as well (sometimes things get corrupted especially after bad crash). First, try rebuilding destop on reboot and maybe even something like Norton on your system before starting over an d reinstalling things though cool.gif
