Hello,
I'm desperately trying to figure out how to create music using Logic/Cubase and the tonne of samples I just bought. Nowhere have I found ANY place on the net that goes through and explains how to create a piece of music using samples. Can anyone show me on the web where a person can get free info on how to take a simple piece of music I've composed in Sibelius and use my EastWest library to record it? Things like that would be invaluable to me. Any help? Thanks! |

Take a look here.
http://www.tweakheadz.com/Sampling_Tips.html http://www.tweakheadz.com/software_samplers.htm If you have Logic Pro it has an EXS instrument editor that will allow mapping and creation of multisample instruments. You can also make drum kits from one-shot samples. You could drop loops right into the timeline, or process the loops with the Apple loop utility, then they would conform to the tempo you set. Because of poor performance I don't use SX on my Macs, the poor G4s just can't take the load, so it sits collecting dust on my PC, until I see some stelar reviews of the MacIntel version when it's released. -------------------- G-Dub
