Pesji: yep, absolutely, that's true - Pro Tools Free only works in OS 9 proper. I'm lucky enough to have dual-boot Macs, so I never think what it would be like to only have OS X. Kind of annoying sometimes, I would think.
The Mbox is nice, though, all other factors considered - I presume that it now ships with an OS X compatible version of PT LE? |

 Yes it comes with OSX compatible PT LE 6.0 but since the PT 6.1 is now ready for shipping, I expect that new customers will receive the PT 6.1 directly. For me they also send the PT LE 5.5 to work under OS9  I had install specialy Mac OS9 on a seperate partition of my hard disk in case but since I have no OS9 plugins I run always PT under OSX Pesji
