I have a Motu 828 hoked up to my G4 but the sound of the fan ends up on my recordings. I record exclusively with mics. Is there a way to isolate the CPU without burning up the computer? I was going to build a sound proof box around the CPU but I'm afraid it will choke off the air circulation. Has anyone heard of doing something like that?
