I want to introduce pro tools into my current studio set up. I record a lot of guitar bands live so I need to get more than 8 tracks into PT simultaneously. Is this possible with LE and a suitable I/O interface or do I have to go down the HD route. The studio set up uses 2xADAT XT and BRC through an ageing Allen&Heath GS3V desk. I'm new to this computing in music thing, so any suggestions would help me when I go to the money men and maybe, just maybe I'll get something nice for xmas.
