i am thinking about purchasing the us 428 to use with cubase sx & i was wondering if anyone is using the 428 with panther & if so, are there any issues?

Works fine for me; just make sure to get latest driver from their web site.
I have more issues w/ Cubase than I do with the Tascam, although I haven't upgraded to 2.0 yet. The US 428 has proven to be a real work horse in my studio and their latest driver are very nice with Panther. Jim ![]() |

There is an issue between Cubase and Panther.
Cubase SL2 doesn not yet have a driver for Panther although one is promised. So, to be clear, my Panther OS does not work propery with Cubase SL2 but the Tascam is sound. Chris Reed |

thanks for the replies...i went ahead & picked up a 428 on ebay today & ordered my upgrade to cubase sx 2.0, hopefully it will all run smoothly!
