Hi
I have been looking for the EMU Audity her in Norway for four years, but no one has it or wants to sell it. I did find it on ZZounds.com but they don't ship it out of the U.S. I guess I have to look for something similar to Audity. How's the EMU Proteus 2000...? Any tips anyone...? I had one (an Audity 2000), years ago and it dissapointed me a lot. I do not recommend it. The sound pretends to be analog but is far from it. And you have access to a very few hard controls. So, to get decent sounds is a pain.
If you're looking for hardware analog simulation go to access virus or similar. The virus is awesome. If you have a decent Mac, go software. I bought the Emagic ES2 recently and is fantastic. The same sound or better compared to harware units. Best regards. Lluís |

Well, the reason why I am looking for the Audity is that I had it five years ago, but had to leave it with my EX when I moved out. I really liked it alot...
I have used the software version of Virus when I was on Pro Tools and that what endeed awesome, but that is also with my EX (lucky guy) I haven't thought about buying the real Virus...isn't that very expensive..? I am on a G4 744 so I do use Emagic's soft synths and samplers but I do really miss the old Audity I just thought that EMU would make something similar now... But thanks anyway "I've been so lonesome in my sadle since my horse died..." -------------------- "It said Windows 2000 or better on the box, so I bought a Mac"

I searched, but could not find one However you might try asking around at synthzone Go to the forum there and see what happens, they have a "for sale, wanted" portion, also there are some great resorce pages there. Hope that helps....
