 Oms And Os9 Classic Environment, OMS |

The refusal of my eMac to install OMS leads me to believe that maybe it won't work in the Mac OS9 Classic environment. I had an iMac and OMS loaded onto that (it had the normal OS9).
Anyone have OMS running under OS9 Classic?

Doesn't work in classic mode, you have to boot up in OS9 to use OMS, and OS9 DAW apps. -------------------- G-Dub

Looks like I'm going to have to get my iMac repaired and set up my PC-300 on that. Which makes the eMac look a bit redundant. Why don't manufacturers make it clear that their crap can't work on certain OS crap. I also found out MOTU's Digital Performer 3.0 won't work on OS 9 Classic.
Classic indeed.

trying to use demanding apps (DP) or specific extensions (OMS) in Classic is running to find trouble.
If you need OMS under X (as the current workaround still in test to use the Nord Modular editor), you must boot in 9 set up OMS then restart in X.
