Hi Frostie:), you must mean the M-Audio Audiophile 2496.
I don't have any experience of this specific M-audio hardware, but perhaps someone else here does (fingers crossed!). In the mean time, make sure logic runs under S/Manager ok without the card installed. Then... How about the trusty starting point for most conflicts/inexplicable errors. Make a copy of the base extension set, rename it something sensible, and only turn back on the absolute minimum required extensions; one at a time. Leave off OMS for starters and just try to get the audio side running -ie, USB dongle driver for logic and the extension to enable the PCI card, if possible leave off the sound manger/Audiophile linking driver (if it's anything like the delta1010) and just try to get logic talking via ASIO to the card. That's all I know.. |

Also, if it does run ok underS/Manager -try moving the PCI card to another slot. This is also a common fix for strangeness. I've seen no reports of incompatibility for this interface, so this might just do it! Good luck

Error type 3 is a memory error, give Logic at least 128 Mo if you can, if not, buy some ram! (it'll help everything else too
M-audio is a well known name here, especially for its ù$*£ç&@# drivers. If it comes from it, try to reinstall the drivers (check for the last ones on M-audio's site) but first the memory. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Good it's over
Maybe you had something fucked up on your HD or you installed in the wrong order for OMS to kindly want to work for a change. each time OMS is lurking, there's potentially trouble ahead. anyway cooool -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home
