 Cubase Sx3, Problem with m-audio midi controller |

Hi guys, I am a newbie in music recording. I have Cubase SX3 and an M-Audio midi controller. My problem is that when I press a specific note on the controller, the instrument does not produce any sound anymore. It could be a setting that is pre-configured but I can't get find where exactly. Could you please help me on this.
